Join Michael A. WInters, D.C. on Tuesday August 4th 7 p.m. at Winters Wellness Center in presenting Thyroid Heath:The Bigger Picture
There is a bigger picture than just a TSH test and maybe a total T4 but for many of you that is the extent of the information you have on your thyroid. You may still be suffering from fatigue, hair falling out. low mood, low sex drive, constipation , cold sensitivity and an inability to lose weight.
It definitely takes more lab tests to find out what is going. At this talk you will learn which labs are necessary and why. You will learn that there are actually six types of low thyroid and how the labs tell us which type you are. (You can have more than one type.) You will learn why that even on the right amount of thyroid medication you may still have many thyroid symptoms. You will learn why most thyroid problems are auto-immune ie: the immune system is damaging the thyroid but also how this often goes undetected because a full panel of labs have not been run. You will also learn the role of brain and nervous system balance in thyroid function.
Combining a highly advanced no twisting or popping form of chiropractic with supportive dietary changes and very specific nutritional supplementation we can see people greatly improve with thyroid related symptoms.

Less Depression Less Anxiety is about handling the underlying issues which are causing the brain to malfunction. We will look at all of the foundational things that the brain needs to work right - things your doctor either doesn't know or is not taking the time to share with you. We are not opposed to anti-depressant medication when needed, BUT we can't expect medication to resolve our problem when there is not a good foundation for healthy brain function. Dr. Winters has taken all of the current information and distilled it down so it can be easily and readily applied. There are 5 key things the brain needs to function correctly and we use the acronym NOGAN.
